National Security Simulation Class
Duke students were offered a new course this semester: National Security Simulation — Great Power Competition, Non-State Actors & Human Rights. Taught by Professor David Schanzer and Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, terrorism scholar and CEO of Valens Global, the course runs for seven weeks and challenges teams of students to navigate a high-stakes, global crisis between the U.S. and China. Two students, Ben Dratch MPP ’23 and Peter Connolly ’23, are blogging about their experience on the Sanford School of Public Policy website.
