Thursday marks one year since the insurrection at the United States Capitol, where a pro-Trump mob attempted to overthrow the results of a legitimate election. This event was a direct threat to our nation, and we must continue working to prevent future attacks and protect the long-term health of our democracy.  

On the one-year anniversary, Thursday, January 6, 2022, I will host a Facebook Live event to discuss the historic assault on our democracy and answer your questions about where we go from here. I will be joined by a special guest, David Schanzer, Professor of the Practice at the Duke Sanford School of Public Policy and Director of the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security.
